they write: "Jonathan Riordan is a professional artist and teacher. He makes paint both his medium and his subject, creating nonobjective works of art that explore the beauty of paint itself. His work consists of numerous layers of acrylic, latex, and oil."

CCNY represents at Governors Island

  As a part of Governors Island Art Fair, AIR gallery has a show up titled “If These Walls…”  The exhibit is located at house 5B, Nolan Park and runs Friday, Sauturday, and Sundays until September 29^th, 2014.

One of our Graduate committee faculty Sylvia Netzer, as well as MFA alumni Mary Sweeney have works in the show.  Both are working within the ceramic medium but have drastically different approaches to the medium.
