Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! This period of time between fall and spring semesters has been a great opportunity to reflect on the last semester, start on some new ideas for next semester, and take advantage of uninterrupted studio time!!!

Thanks to all who came out for our Open Studios event in November, we had a great turnout! The Silent Auction was a huge success; almost every piece found a new home! Proceeds are being used to help us purchase important studio equipment and supplies. The Open Studios event was a great way to bring the fall semester to a close. We are looking forward to a busy and productive spring semester. Stay tuned for Thesis Show announcements for our graduating second year students!

Shepard Hall 4th Floor (Convent Ave & W 140th St-One block east Amsterdam Ave)

CCNY Studio MFA OPEN STUDIO 11/29 5-9pm

Hello!

I am pleased to announce that CCNY Studio MFA Open Studios is coming up super soon! Please come visit the gorgeous campus of the City College of New York on November 29th from 5 to 9 pm.

The Studios in Compton-Goethals Hall (2nd floor) and Shepard Hall (4th floor) will be open to the public, and all of the artists currently in the Studio Art MFA program will be here. We'd love to talk to you about art, City College, and have some snacks with you.

In conjunction with the Open Studio there will be a silent auction of new artwork by the MFA students, benefitting the Graduate Art Society, a student organization which brings artists, curators and other arts professionals to lecture to the CCNY community.

We're looking forward to seeing you at CCNY soon!
